"I don't want to be a Missionary!"

So at church today my mom was reading a "Quiet Book" to Spencer. On one of the pages it talked about missionaries. My mom asked him if he wanted to go on a mission. He said he didn't want to go on a mission. My mom asked him why. He said that he didn't want to leave his mommy and daddy. Then he asked how long people were on missions, and my mom told him two years. He then said he only wanted to go on a mission for one day. My mom kept telling him, "Yes your going on a mission," etc. Then in the middle of sacrement meeting he puts his hands over his eyes and starts crying saying that he doesn't want to go on a mission. My mom told him that he didn't have to go till he was older and bigger. Spencer then calmed down and almost fell asleep through the rest of sacrement. It was so cute and sad!

Our first blog

This is our first blog.  We spent a wonderful weekend with Valane, Sarah, Riley, Jeremy, and Tyler Cook.  Sarah has an amazing blog site at www.journeywithboys.blogspot.com.  We are now staying at a little cottage called the Otter Hut which is located in Port Orchard, Washington.  We will fill you in on the details later.       -Veloy
